Parrot park yesterday opened its doors to the carnival delegations that arrive every year from Germany, specifically the representatives of the party in Düsseldorf, and tomorrow it will host groups from Bonn and Duisburg. The event was attended by the mayor of Puerto de la Cruz, Marco González; the head of the Tourism Development area, Carolina Rodríguez; the councilor for Tourism Promotion, Roberto Medina, and Wolfgang Kiessling, president of Loro Parque. Puerto de la Cruz has been receiving German carnival goers for more than 40 years and, after the stoppage forced by the pandemic, in 2022 more than a hundred representatives of these festivities have been able to return.
