SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 3. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Government of the Canary Islands will provide all the help that is necessary so that the family of the Gran Canarian child who still remains in Ukraine, in the city of Kharkov, can leave the country as soon as possible and come to the Archipelago.
The spokesman for the Government of the Canary Islands, Julio Pérez, has indicated at a press conference that of the four Canarians who were in Ukraine at the time of the Russian invasion, three have already returned to the Islands.
The only Canarian that remains in that country is a 4-year-old boy from Gran Canaria who meets his mother in the vicinity of Kharkov, an “area particularly hard hit by Russian attacks and in which the difficulties of leaving are greater than in other points from Ukraine”.
Julio Pérez said that the President of the Government of the Canary Islands has spoken several times with the family and has told them that he will provide them with whatever help is necessary when they can come to the Islands.
