SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 1. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The singer Cristina Ramos and the timplista Benito Cabrera will give a “special” concert on March 11 at the Leal Theater in La Laguna (Tenerife) on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Both artists come together in a concert in which they seek to take a trip to the roots of Canarian music, as reported by the organization of the event in a press release.
This will be the first time that Cristina Ramos tackles this repertoire and for this she has wanted to do it “hand in hand with the most recognized benchmark in traditional music”, Benito Cabrera.
In the show they are preparing, both will take a tour of the sounds of Canarian folklore and its most direct influences, coming from the other side of the Atlantic.
In addition, Benito Cabrera and Cristina Ramos will be accompanied by a band of musicians who will “give color” to the songs to be performed.
