The National Police, with the collaboration of the Local Police force, established different prevention devices last weekend in the leisure areas of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, which culminated in the identification of 125 people and the opening of 22 proposals. of sanction for possession or consumption of narcotic substances (20) and possession of dangerous instruments for the integrity of people (2), apart from attending services of a humanitarian nature.
The devices, whose main objective is to prevent disturbances of order that could result in personal or material damage, were established mainly in the Plaza de España, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and in the ring in La Laguna, during the times of greatest influx of people.
In general, the Police indicate that tranquility has been the dominant situation in the leisure areas of both cities.
The actions have been carried out by national police officers from the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, who have had the collaboration of the Local Police forces of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
