SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 28 (EUROPE PRESS) –
A man was injured this Sunday night with moderate burns in various parts of the body when the kitchen of his house in Adeje caught fire.
The events occurred around 9:45 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting a fire on the third floor of a residential building in La Tosca street, in Callao Salvaje.
Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium verified that the fire had originated in the kitchen and proceeded to extinguish it and ventilate the building, and SUC personnel assisted one affected with burns and transferred him to the emergency department of the Hospital del Sur.
