SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 26 (EUROPE PRESS) –

The ‘Santa Cruz’ Attractions Fair, which opened its doors this Friday in the parking lot located in front of the Parque Marítimo and the Palmetum, involves the direct generation of 240 jobs through the 37 companies that have installed 60 attractions and a gastronomic area.

This has been highlighted by the City Council in a statement in which it explains that the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, highlighted during a tour of the facilities that in addition to these direct jobs, the impact on labor and economic activity is almost doubled, “up to 450 jobs linked in some way to this leisure space”.

Meanwhile, the person in charge of Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello, pointed out that “the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council is working intensely for economic and labor recovery, through the generation of opportunities that translate into the improvement of labor market indicators “.

In this sense, he recalled that “the data for the first month of 2022 support the measures taken by the current government team”, and through which “Santa Cruz is consolidated as the engine of the island economy with the highest growth record of contracting sustained over time”.

For the development of the ‘Santa Cruz’ Attractions Fair, which will remain open until March 20, a series of companies and professionals are linked that provide basic external services: perimeter fencing, rental of generator sets, preparation of electrical works and industrial technical engineering, installation and cleaning of portable toilets, food and beverages, signage or advertising, among others.

For its part, this private promotion leisure project will have a schedule from Sunday to Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; which will be extended until 11:00 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays.

Access to the recreational area will be made directly, through a capacity control and the use of the mask and hydroalcoholic gel will be mandatory.
