Weak rains in the islands of greater relief this Thursday in the Canary Islands

The Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) announces for this Thursday possible light rains in the north of the islands of greater relief and occasional especially during the second half of the day. In the rest of these islands, cloudy intervals, with evolution cloud formation on the western and southern slopes during the afternoon. In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, little cloudy in general.

The minimum temperatures will be slightly rising in the western islands and light wind which will increase from noon, from the northeast in the western islands and from the north in the eastern ones, where the haze.

As for the state of the seaannounces a west wind of force 2 or 3 and a variable force of 1 to 3, which will rage to force 5 locallyas well as curly seas or swells, which will increase to swells and sea bottoms from the north with waves of 1 to 2 meters and the probability of rain or a downpour.

LANZAROTE

Predominance of slightly cloudy skies, with some cloudy interval in the early and late hours. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease and maximum with few changes. Loose north component wind, with breezes on the coasts, increasing during the afternoon and being somewhat more intense on the south coasts.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Reef 15 23

FUERTEVENTURA

Little cloudy in general, with some cloudy interval in the early hours and at the end. Minimum temperatures without changes or in slight decrease and maximum with few changes. Loose northerly wind, with breezes on the coasts, increasing from midday and being somewhat more intense on the Jandía peninsula.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

GRAND CANARY

In the north, cloudy intervals, with some clear in the afternoon, tending to cloudy with probable weak and occasional rains in the last hours. In the south, slightly cloudy with cloudiness of evolution during the afternoon. Minimum temperatures without changes or in slight decrease, especially on the southern slopes; maxima with few changes. Loose to moderate north component wind, which will increase during the afternoon and will be more intense on the northwest and east slopes. Breezes on the south coast.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 15 21

TENERIFE

In the north, predominance of cloudy skies, with probable light and occasional rains, especially during the second half of the day. In summits, clear. In the rest, cloudy intervals, with formation of evolutionary cloudiness on the south and west slopes during the afternoon, where some weak and scattered precipitation will not be ruled out. Minimum temperatures in slight to moderate ascent, especially in summits; maxima with few changes. Loose northeast wind, increasing at the end of the morning and being more intense during the afternoon in the southeast and northwest. Breezes on the southwest coast. In high peaks, wind from the southwest that will decrease and turn to the northwest weak.

LA GOMERA

Cloudy intervals, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north in the early and late hours and in the south and west during the afternoon. Loose north-northeast wind, increasing at the end of the morning and being more intense on the northwest and east slopes during the afternoon. Breezes in general on the south coast.

San Sebastian de la Gomera 16 22

THE PALM

In the north and northeast, predominance of cloudy skies, with probable light and occasional rains, mainly during the second half of the day. In the rest, cloudy intervals, with evolution cloud formation on west-facing slopes during the afternoon. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly rising; maxima with few changes. Loose northeast wind increasing from the end of the morning, and it will be more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes during the afternoon. Breezes on the southwest coast.

Holy Cross of the Palm 15 21

THE IRON

Cloudy intervals, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north in the early and late hours and in the south and west during the afternoon. Light and occasional rains are not ruled out in the north, especially in the last hours. Temperatures with little change. Loose northeast wind increasing during the morning, and that will be more intense in extreme west and southeast starting in the afternoon. Breezes in general on southwest coasts.
