Frost and strong winds continue this Tuesday in Tenerife

The haze could return to the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). In addition, among the significant phenomena for this Tuesday, the Aemet also includes in high areas of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, occasionally strong southerly wind with very strong gusts in central peaks of Tenerife.

In the eastern province there will be a predominance of high clouds, tending to clear at the end of the day, while in the western islands, in the early hours the sky will be cloudy in the north, when weak and occasional rain is not ruled out. Cloudy intervals in the rest, tending to a little cloudy throughout the morning.

The minimum temperatures will experience little change in the islands of greater relief and will be slightly to moderately rising in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. The rise in the maximum will be notable in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and inland areas of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and slight to moderate in the rest. The wind will blow from the northeast to the east component in coastal areas.

Forecast by islands for this Tuesday in the Canary Islands:

Lanzarote

Predominance of high clouds, tending to clear at the end of the day. Probable entry of light haze during the second half of the day. Rising temperatures: moderate in the minimum and notable rise in the value of the maximum where the temperature could rise by more than 6 ºC in interior areas. Northeast wind, which will turn during the morning to an east component with some strong interval on north and west slopes. At the end of the day it will decrease to a weak northeast with a predominance of breezes on the coasts.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Reef 16 26

Fuerteventura

Prevalence of high clouds, opening some clear during the central hours in the south and tending to clear at the end of the day. Probable entry of light haze during the second half of the day. Rising temperatures: moderate in the minimum and notable rise in the value of the maximum where the temperature could rise more than 6 ºC in interior areas. Northeast wind, from weak to moderate, which will turn during the morning to this component. Slightly more intense in the Jandía peninsula. At night, it will decrease to the weak northeast with a predominance of breezes on the coasts.

Gran Canaria

Little cloudy except for some interval of high clouds, or low clouds on the north slope. Minimum temperatures unchanged. Rising maxims, which will be noticeable in interior areas, where there could be increases of more than 6 ºC. Loose north component wind, somewhat more intense in extreme east and west. In summits, moderate south wind, occasionally strong.

Tenerife

Cloudy intervals at the beginning accompanied by little probability of weak and occasional precipitation in the early hours in the north. During the morning it will tend to slightly cloudy skies, except for an occasional cloudy interval. Minimum temperatures with few changes. Highs in light to moderate ascent, which will become notable in high areas. Frost on summits. Loose northeast wind, which will turn north at noon. Coastal breezes. In central summits, strong south wind with very strong gusts that can exceed 80 kilometers per hour.

The Palm

Cloudy intervals with a low probability of occasional precipitation during the early morning. During the morning it will tend to be slightly cloudy. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures in slight rise, more significant in interior areas. Frost on summits. Loose east component wind, more intense in extreme north and south. Tending to the end to loose variable.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Santa Cruz de La Palma 12 21

La Gomera

In the north, cloudy at the beginning without ruling out some weak and occasional precipitation in the early hours. In the southern half, cloudy intervals. During the morning it will tend to slightly cloudy skies throughout the island. Minimum temperatures with few changes. Highs in light to moderate ascent, more significant in interior areas. Loose north component wind, somewhat more intense in extreme west and east. Coastal breezes. In high areas it will turn to the south component in the afternoon.

The iron

Cloudy with a low probability of occasional precipitation during the early morning. During the morning it will tend to cloudy intervals, opening clear at the end of the day. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures with a slight to moderate rise, more significant in interior areas. Loose easterly wind, which at noon will turn northeast.
