CC-PNC in the Cabildo accuses the insular government of PSOE and Ciudadanos of “breaching the agreement” to reform the Insular Center for Marine Sports of Tenerife (Cidemat). The document, signed in November 2019, establishes that the Corporation is in charge of contracting and executing the works, “something that has not been done until now.”
Counselor Verónica Meseguer recalls that “the facility has been closed since May 2020 and its 15 workers were fired.” She urges the government group to “start the work imminently.”
Meseguer has defended in the Employment, Socioeconomic Development, Education and Sports commission that the PSOE and Ciudadanos “fail to comply with what is established” in the Sol y Sombra project agreement for the rehabilitation of the Valleseco beach environment. Meseguer sentences: “To date, not even the Cidemat reform project has been drafted.”
