Agents of the National Police have arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of public disorder five minors involved in a fight last Saturday in the Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in which a boy, also a minor, was injured by a weapon white on one arm and one hand.
According to police sources, the injured boy, accompanied by other young people, was approached by a large group of minors and, according to his own words, was attacked with a knife when he was helping one of his friends involved in the brawl.
The National Police investigators, after becoming aware of the fight, began the necessary steps to identify all those who had participated in it.
The agents, through the proceedings carried out, were able to identify five other minors as alleged participants in the events, proceeding to arrest them days later in the capital of Tenerife.
Following the instructions of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, who was informed of all the proceedings, the five detainees were handed over to their legal guardians.
The investigation is still open and the National Police does not rule out new arrests related to this fact.
The actions were carried out by national police officers from the Investigation Group of the National Police Station of the Southern District of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
