SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 17 (EUROPE PRESS) –
Three people have been injured this Thursday in a traffic accident on the TF-5 at the height of Tacoronte.
The events occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert from the SUC ambulance staff reporting the collision of a tourism against the median.
The injured are a 56-year-old woman, with moderate facial trauma; another 85-year-old with minor injuries and a 45-year-old man transferred to the HUC for an assessment.
Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium secured the accident vehicle and facilitated the exit of its occupants from inside the passenger compartment and the SUC staff assisted the three affected and transferred the two women to the San Juan de Dios Hospital.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic on the road and carried out the corresponding report and staff from the Highway Maintenance Service collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
