Afedes, the Association for the Promotion, Training, Employment, Information and Development of the North, develops the project Afedes fight against social exclusion. The objective is to care for people with economic difficulties to cover their basic needs, improving their quality of life and strengthening social support networks and the acquisition of knowledge in home economics and digital literacy.
With this project, 56 people have benefited directly and 99 indirectly, individual interventions have been carried out, assistance to group activities and coverage of basic needs has been offered. All the people belong to the municipalities of La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos, San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, El Tanque, Los Silos and Buenavista del Norte.
