New bomb warning this Tuesday, February 15 in a school in Tenerife. As happened last week in the CEIP Isaac de Vega de Granadillathe about 750 students of the IES Santa Úrsula they had to be evacuated today after a call received at the center around 10:00 a.m. in which they warned of the presence of an explosive in the facilities.
It is still unknown if, as happened at the Granadilla school, the events could be related to the anti-vaccines. Since, unlike the school in Granadilla, the vaccination bus is not currently present at the Santa Úrsula institute, however, it plans to arrive at the center next week.
After informing the authorities, agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard appeared at the center with specialized dogs from the Specialized Group for the Deactivation of Explosives (GEDE) and after an hour and a half operation with negative results, the center was able to resume their classes.
Last Thursday, February 10, an entire security device was activated in the Isaac de Vega school, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, because a person called the center with the aim of “boycotting” the vaccination campaign against covid-19 in the population from five to eleven years. At that time a “vacuguagua” was outside the educational center.
That professional day Civil Guard specialists in deactivation of explosives concluded the search in the dependencies of the school center with the same result as today, there was no trace of any explosive device.
