The CC-PNC group in the Cabildo requests an investment of seven million euros to improve the island’s tourist infrastructure. The nationalist councilor, Diana Mora, criticizes the low execution of Tourism investments in 2021 “since neither arrived nor half of what was planned. Of the 13 million they only executed 5.8 ».
Mora points out that “since the resignation of Martín Plata (April 2021) there is no director in the area and the result is evident: they only executed 45% of the planned investments.”
For the nationalist counselor «it is money for infrastructure and for Tenerife to improve as a tourist destination, in addition to generating employment. The low execution is not the fault of the civil servants or the workers, but of the lack of political impulse of the PSOE».
The Treasury report as of December 31, 2021 reveals that of the 883 million euros for the 2021 financial year, only 713, 80.8%, were executed.
