SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 14 (EUROPE PRESS) –
A man, of whom no further information is known, has been injured in a multiple collision that occurred on the Autopista del Sur (TF-1), at the height of the municipality of Güímar, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert stating that three vehicles had collided on the TF-1, towards Santa Cruz, in the vicinity of the access to Punta Prieta, and one of its occupants was trapped.
Members of the Fire Brigade secured the damaged vehicles and freed the occupant of one of them from inside the passenger compartment. The SUC staff assessed and assisted the affected person, who was transferred by sanitary ambulance to a hospital due to moderate polycontusions, except for complications.
The Civil Guard regulated the circulation on the road, in which important retentions were registered, and it was necessary to divert traffic to the TF-28 and TF-616 roads, and carried out the corresponding report.
Personnel from the Highway Maintenance Service carried out cleaning tasks on the road and collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
