SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 14 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The secretary general of the Canarian Coalition (CC), Fernando Clavijo, has demanded this Monday a “reflection” from society in general to know “what is being done wrong” so that VOX grows as “remarkably” as has happened in Castilla and León when going from one seat to 13.
Speaking to journalists, he said that VOX represents “quite the opposite” of his own party, but he sees “it is obvious that if people vote it is for something.”
In this sense, he has linked the rise in the formation of Santiago Abascal to the fact that the autonomous communities are being used “as chess pieces” in a “battle for La Moncloa” and thus “forget” about the territories and the problems of the citizens , which has made the vote now tilt towards the extreme right as it happened in the previous crisis towards Podemos.
Likewise, he commented that the elections in Castilla y León confirm a “clear trend” that the left-wing bloc that is in the Government “is going down”, something that is “ratified” in the succession of the last elections, and a “major rise” on the right, but especially on the far right.
At the same time, he has valued the growth of the “territorial axis” of citizens who do not feel “represented by bipartisanship” and want their territories and specific problems “to have an answer” in the great national policies.
