Two planes are making the approach maneuver to the Tenerife South airport after two emergency situations occurred due to heart problems on board, as reported by air traffic controllers this Saturday.
In their social networks, the controllers have explained that one of the flights has been identified as CAT301 and comes from Denmark, while the second is TOM704, which has been diverted to the Tenerife airport, as it was scheduled to end its journey in Cape Verde.
As reported by the 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands, one of the passengers, a 75-year-old man, is in serious condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest and has been transferred by medicalized helicopter to the Hospital University Our Lady of Candelaria.
