The Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2) has reported the discovery of a person without vital signs on Juan Alfonso Batista Avenue, in Los Cristianos (Arona), this Wednesday.
The events took place around 08:17 hours, when a call alerted 1-1-2: a person had located a man without vital signs on the promenade. The necessary emergency resources were immediately activated. Members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended the avenue with a basic life support ambulance; a doctor and a nurse from the health center; local and national police.
Despite efforts, little could be done to save the man’s life. The toilets confirmed his death, while the security forces and bodies were in charge of the corresponding proceedings.
