A woman arrested for brutally assaulting a minor at the entrance of a nightclub in Puerto de la Cruz

Agents of the National Police arrested a 26-year-old girl as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injury committed on January 29 outside a nightclub in the town of Puerto de la Cruz.

Apparently, in an argument between several people, a young woman suddenly hit a 16-year-old minor in the face with a glass jar. This began to bleed profusely from her wounds, due to the breaking of the glass when it hit her face.

The alleged aggressor, along with her partner, after hitting the minor, fled at a run through the streets of the town. The victim had to be transferred to her reference hospital to receive health care and suture on her face.

The agents of the National Police, thanks to the diligences carried out and the citizen’s collaboration, identified the presumed author of the facts; a 26-year-old girl who was arrested days later in the town of Adeje. As several witnesses had stated, she had lesions on her hand compatible with the cuts that had been caused when carrying out the attack.

The detainee, together with the report prepared for this purpose, was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.

The actions were carried out by national police officers from the Judicial Police Brigade of the National Police Station of Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos.
