SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 7 (EUROPE PRESS) –
Nerea López, the 14-year-old minor they had been looking for since last Friday in Tenerife after reporting her disappearance in the municipality of Arona through the SOS Disappeared platform, has been located on Monday night in a bar in La Laguna.
National Police sources confirm to Europa Press that the minor entered a bar on Obispo Pérez Cáceres street and asked the workers for help, who called the National Police to take charge of the girl.
The minor has been referred to a health center to check her health and will later be handed over to her parents.
Given the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and her location – it was she herself who requested help – the National Police has opened an investigation and does not rule out any hypothesis.
The family has defended in recent days that Nerea could have run away from home with another minor, also 14 years old -she has escaped more times-, and that she would be accompanied by a young man between 25 and 30 years old who could be lodging them in some house.
