A karate teacher will be tried as of this Tuesday in the Audiencia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife accused of sexually abusing two underage students, crimes for which the Prosecutor’s Office requests a sentence of 18 years in prison.
As stated in the indictment, the abuses occurred in two schools in San Juan de la Rambla and La Guancha, where the defendant taught karate classes.
He groped one of his victims under her clothes at the end of classes, when she was lying on the floor stretching.
To another he even took off her clothes and licked her breasts and face and on one occasion he showed her videos with pornographic content and told her that he wanted to do the same with her, according to the indictment.
These behaviors caused in the minors, both under the age of 16, “great discomfort, nervousness and a feeling of humiliation”, the Prosecutor’s Office collects in its letter, which requests, in addition to the prison sentence, compensation for 6,000 and 12,000 euros, respectively.
Likewise, it requests separate restraining orders for 6 and 10 years and the prohibition of carrying out educational or recreational activities in which minors participate for identical periods.
