SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 6 (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 73-year-old man has had to be transferred in a medical helicopter from the SUC to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital due to serious health problems, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1 -two.
The event occurred around 6:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that there was an unconscious man on the Taganana road, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Personnel from a basic life support ambulance of the SUC provided the first assistance to the affected person following the instructions of the coordinating doctor, until the arrival of the medical helicopter.
Members of the Firefighters and Local Police Consortium enabled the area for the landing of the helicopter on an embankment located next to El Cardonal Beach Road. The SUC ambulance took the patient to this place and, after being stabilized, he was evacuated in said aircraft to the helipad of La Candelaria Hospital.
