Likewise, in the last hours the death of 16 people has been reported: nine in Gran Canaria, six in Tenerife and one in La Palma, pending validation by the General Directorate of Public Health.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 301.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 825.75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 3,136,556 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the Islands, of which 5,092 correspond to yesterday.

By islands, Tenerife today has 164 cases with a total of 122,705 accumulated cases and 49,040 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 97,932 accumulated cases, 273 more than the previous day, and 45,354 active cases. Lanzarote adds 20 new cases with 18,472 accumulated and 2,944 epidemiologically active. Fuerteventura has 13,054 accumulated cases, with 53 new cases and 6,835 active ones.

La Palma adds 45 new positives, so it has 8,648 accumulated and 657 active; El Hierro adds 13 new positives, so its accumulated numbers are 1,626 and it has 120 active cases, and La Gomera adds 14 new cases, so it has 1,546 accumulated numbers and its assets are 89.

The Ministry of Health recalls that these data published today on the Grafcan portal are provisional and are pending validation by the Public Health teams. In this way, the dynamics of the Alert and Emergency Coordination Center are followed, which does not receive epidemiological information from the Autonomous Communities on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

For this reason, the data may change once they are epidemiologically reviewed and consolidated by the General Directorate of Public Health according to the established protocols, so discrepancies may arise in the coming days in the updating of the data contained on the Grafcan website.
