The City Council of Los Realejos maintains, with the support of the Council of Tenerife, his commitment to facilitate mobility in collective transport within the municipality with initiatives such as the shared taxi or the urban bus line 330, which in 2021 transported 8.4% more passengers, reaching a total figure of 47,432 users.

The Councilor for Transport and the Environment and Fight for the Climate, Alexis Hernández (PP), highlights that “the provision and maintenance of this collective transport service is the result of an action agreed between the City Council of Los Realejos and the Cabildo de Tenerife, which the realejero Consistory contributes an annual investment of 177,645 euros, to which are added the 67,500 euros allocated to the parallel shared taxi initiative. In total, about 245,145 euros from the municipal coffers that go to direct actions of collective mobility, in line with the local strategy for environmental sustainability Los Realejos #100toXelClima ».

For the first deputy mayor, Adolfo González (PP), «the firm commitment to these bypass services continues to be a priority of the real estate government. In the case of the bus 330, it joins the towns of Las Llanadas in the mid-range realejeras with the coastal environment of San Vicente, with the novelty since mid-2021 of adding up to three daily arrivals on weekdays to El Socorro beach, as and how it was being demanded».

Alexis Hernández adds that «although cEvery year during the summer months a specific connection line with El Socorro beach is set up, 546, the public had requested the continuity of a public transport service for the rest of the year. And we understood that the aforementioned extension of specific routes of line 330 to the beach was the most appropriate solution for efficiency in the service and to satisfy that neighborhood request ».

The service chart of the aforementioned agreement between the Los Realejos City Council and the Tenerife Island Council, through Titsa, provides for three different types of routes according to schedules, with about twenty daily trips from Monday to Friday, five of them even until Tigaiga and three to El Socorro beach, and a dozen on weekends. The complete route followed by the two buses of line 330 in an approximate period of 55 minutes is as follows: Municipal Market, Canarias avenue, Mencey Bencomo square, Los Barros road with a roundabout turn, San Agustín street, La Alhóndiga street , El Cantillo de Abajo street, San Vicente, San Vicente highway, Puerto Franco street, Canarias avenue, San Isidro street, Municipal Market, Canarias avenue (downward direction), Los Remedios avenue, Nueva highway, Real de La street Cruz Santa, La Piñera Baja road, Palo Blanco road, La Ferruja road, Las Llanadas, La Piñera Baja road, Canarias avenue and Municipal Market.

As for the shared taxi, the initiative was used in 2021 by a total of 16,024 passengers through four different vehicles with a municipal license, facilitating collective mobility, but also transportation to and from the most dispersed nuclei of the municipality, concentrating routes with the areas of Icod El Alto and Palo Blanco, Las Llanadas and La Ferruja, from Monday to Friday from seven in the morning until eight in the afternoon.

As Alexis Hernández recalls, «in an agreement also with the Cabildo and in order to improve the service, since the summer of 2021 the possibility of payment with a ten+ wallet card, the use of monthly passes for young people, is already allowed for the shared taxi of Los Realejos or resident, which until now did not allow this local service, as well as discounts for transshipment.
