The City Council of Guía de Isora will a survey among the neighborss to improve the mobility of the municipality, an action that forms part of the process of preparing the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS). “This is a fundamental tool to inform about the preparation of the document and to listen to citizens, so that they can contribute their ideas, circumstances and perceptions about mobility in Guía de Isora”, explains the Councilor for Socioeconomic Development, Lorraine Medina. The participation of the neighbors is considered “vital”, understanding that “the answers are the reflection of reality in the field of mobility”.
This survey is online (https://consultoralomon.limequery.com/345974) for 15 days. In addition, from Monday to Thursday it will be face-to-face in different locations. With this, the municipal government pursues a high, heterogeneous and accessible participation of all.
The survey includes a group of questions that allows, anonymously, to characterize the respondents, to know how they move and the perception they have of mobility in the municipality. Thanks to this, the government group hopes to obtain essential data on the modes of travel used in Guía de Isora, the reasons why the Isora population travels, the opinion they have about the frequency of public transport or the possibility of change their mobility habits, among other aspects. The consultation also enables the authorities to “consider the alternatives in mobility and the improvements demanded by citizens.”
