Vandalized car in the vicinity of the Tenerife-Norte airport

Workers who carry out their work at the airport North Tenerife and in the surroundings they ask for a solution. It has become too common to find private vehicles literally robbedgenerally it is about people who return from a trip and get this unpleasant surprise, but, in the area, there is unrest.

The vehicle in the image that accompanies this information shows a vehicle that even had its wheels removed and it is not the first time this has happened.

A worker from one of the companies in the area acknowledges that, due to space, it is not always possible to park in limited areas, with the fear that this entails: “You don’t know what you are going to find around the corner.”

This same person points out that thefts usually occur, above all, in private vehicles (there are several car rental companies in the area), of travelers: “They are missing for a week, the car is left alone and they find that they have been removed everything. It’s not the first time we’ve come across this.”

“On one occasion I myself accompanied a girl, who became very nervous, to report it to the police station,” he comments before emphasizing that people who come to cover their workday in that area are “afraid” to leave their vehicle parked there: “You don’t know how you’re going to find it when you return.”
