The City Council of Granadilla de Abona, through the Department of Education, promotes training and the improvement of employability through the Fórmate program developed with Radio Ecca and aimed at people who want to obtain a degree in Secondary Education. In order to work to reduce the numbers of unemployed people without said degree and improve their insertion in the labor market, a meeting was held which was attended by the Councilors for Education and Social Services, Yanira González and María de la O Gaspar , as well as those responsible for the training program.
The Consistory wants to take a step beyond the agreement previously established with Radio Ecca, linking up with other municipal areas such as Social Services, Employment and Local Development. During the meeting, the needs of the population were analyzed.
