The CC-PNC group of the Cabildo de Tenerife promotes the partial improvement of the TF-21 road in the section that gives access to the upper neighborhoods of La Orotava and the Teide National Park. The nationalist formation presented an amendment to the island budget corresponding to the 2022 financial year, which was approved by the Plenary Session of the Cabildo, to include an item of 350,000 euros for an action on a road that connects La Orotava with important centers of the municipality, where they live more of 8,000 residents, and which is one of the busiest because it also connects with the national park.
CC-PNC points out that “it is a demand from the residents who have transferred us from the La Orotava City Council and that it is part of a much larger project, whose total investment is around 32 million euros. We hope that the agreement between both administrations for its execution will be signed as soon as possible. From there, the Villero City Council will be able to initiate the pertinent expropriations and continue with the rest of the project.
The comprehensive project to improve the TF-21 covers about six kilometers and includes actions such as the widening of the road, the improvement of intersections and accesses, the change of public lighting and the fitting out of a pedestrian path. The improvement of the TF-21 is one of the priorities that the neighborhood groups of the Altos de La Orotava defend in order to improve the development and quality of life of the mediocrities.
