The Municipality of San Miguel de Abona already has commissioned the drafting of a project of vital importance for the municipality: the construction of a connecting road between the new Oroteanda junction and Lucio Díaz Flores avenue, from Llano del Camello. Once the aforementioned Oroteanda junction has been provisionally opened, which is allowing greater agility in traffic, the San Miguel Town Hall is working on this new connection road project, which can be executed with its own funds and that will continue to improve the road infrastructures of a municipality that is home to an ever-increasing number of vehicles».
The mayor of the municipality, Arturo González, makes it clear that “we continue to work on improving services, and mobility is a key aspect in the municipality.” And he added: “We will continue to advance in all those projects that depend on municipal management, since we do not expect the same promptness from other administrations.” It should be noted that this future union road could be joined by the improvement of the island road that connects with Aldea Blanca.
