Through social networks, the Cabildo asks the population “maximum attention to signs and caution.”

Throughout the day on Friday, road closures and reopenings alternated, especially on the TF-24 and TF-523 for the same reason.

After the snowfall that has fallen in recent days on the islands of Tenerife and La Palma, the Civil Guard announced this Friday, at the gates of the weekend, that it will increase the prevention work in the coming days, with various units, due to the foreseeable agglomeration of citizens to see the snow and because they are protected natural spaces with the category of National Park. In addition, both islands are at level 4 of epidemiological alert, so current restrictions must be taken into account, such as the maximum number of people in social gatherings.
