The general secretary of the PSOE of Tenerife, Pedro Martín, will stand for re-election to the Secretariat in the XVII Insular Congress, which will be held on March 19 and 20. The format of the same, whether face-to-face or telematic, is subject to the evolution of the health situation due to COVID-19, the PSOE of Tenerife has indicated in a press release.
The date of its call has been set this Saturday by the Insular Committee after the PSOE Canarias has given the go-ahead to launch all the congressional processes of the party in the whole of the Archipelago after the celebration last Thursday of the Executive Regional Commission of the match.
After the development of the Insular Committee of Tenerife, the times that will govern the call of the local groups will be established.
Pedro Martín, who also chairs the Cabildo de Tenerife, has expressed, after confirming that he will stand for reelection, his “firm commitment to continue working for the well-being of all of Tenerife society.”
The island organization secretary, Josefa Mesa, after detailing the calendar that will be followed in the coming weeks, has highlighted the importance of the participation in the development of the congress of all the people who are part of the PSOE Tenerife on the island.
