SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, said this Friday that he has “no concern” about a possible rupture of the Government pact in the Cabildo de Tenerife, just as Sí Podemos has threatened if the PSOE supports a motion to Cs in favor of the southern train.
In statements to journalists, he commented that the president of Tenerife, Pedro Martín, has been in this legislature “working with a majority and reaching out to everyone” and is convinced that he will continue to do so “magnificently well” even if there are differences between the partners will have to be discussed internally.
Questioned about whether he supports the train in the south of Tenerife, he has assured that his “opinion” is reflected in the ‘Pacto de las Flores’ signed by PSOE, NC, Sí Podemos and ASG where guided transport is supported.
However, he has recognized that in some projects “there are emergencies and European funds” to manage, others “that require more time” or have “more explicit support” or have “more controversy”, but in any case, they are initiatives “of “environmental” sustainability if there are funds and if they are feasible.
