The Cabildo de Tenerife has closed again this Friday the access to the Teide National Park by the TF-24 (La Esperanza) due to the presence of ice sheets and snow water on the road. The Corporation has also reported the extension of the cuts to the TF-523, at the intersection with La Esperanza, for the same reason.

without buses
The Cabildo de Tenerife has ruled out launching the so-called Snowfall Operation and that a bus circuit be used to access the snow in the Teide National Park after the snowfall recorded since Wednesday at the summit of the island.
The island director of Roads, Tomás García, has commented that right now there is a lot of ice on the road and “the roads cannot be reopened” so it is not planned to activate the Snowfall Operation at the moment.
