The Canary Islands Government Y Cepsa have announced today that the dismantling of the refinery of the capital will begin next March. The works of this first phase, whose authorization has already been established by the Executive and which include decontamination taskswill last until 2025.
Once this period is over, the facilities will be transferred to Granadilla. “In a few weeks we will celebrate, instead of laying the first stone, removing the first pipes so that Santa Cruz can recover the land of the Refinery,” said the President of the Government, Angel Victor Torres.
