SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands received this Thursday information on the seven subsidies granted during the second half of 2021 by the Ministry of Public Administrations, Justice and Security for the Family Meeting Points (PEF), neutral spaces that favor family relationships. minors with their parents or relatives in conflict situations.
The amount of all the subsidies has risen to 419,386.36 euros.
These aids are motivated by the social interest in the protection of minors and a better functioning of the administration of Justice, as well as by the special qualification and extensive experience of the beneficiary entities.
Specifically, four grants have been awarded to the Spanish Red Cross for the Family Meeting Point programs in Santa Lucía de Tirajana, amounting to 131,301.38 euros; Family Meeting Point on the island of La Palma, for 59,126.28 euros; Family Meeting Point on the island of La Gomera, for a total of 42,519.90 euros; and Family Meeting Point on the island of El Hierro, with 51,438.80 euros.
The remaining three grants have been awarded to the Fundación Canaria Center for Family Care in Tenerife for the La Fortaleza Family Meeting Point program: overcoming sexist violence on the island of Fuerteventura (35,980.32 euros); La Fortaleza Family Meeting Point: overcoming sexist violence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (64,174.20 euros); and La Fortaleza Family Meeting Point: overcoming sexist violence in Tenerife North (34,845.48 euros.
With this accounting, the General Budget Law of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands has been complied with, which establishes that the Government of the Canary Islands will be informed every six months of the subsidies granted for the Family Meeting Points by the person in charge of the competent department.
