The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported through the Roads Area that the access roads to Teide have been opened after having completed the removal of ice and snow sheets from the road.
Specifically, they are the TF-21 routes, through La Orotava, between kilometers 24 (Ramón el Caminero) and 43 (Cable Car); and the TF-24, through La Esperanza, between kilometers 24 and 43 (El Portillo).
According to the Cabildo, plates up to five centimeters thick were found, which prevented circulation on that road.
The TF-24 between kilometers 24 and 43 (El Portillo) is open to traffic.
