Navarro, to date secretary general of the popular Tenerife, will hold the presidency until the insular congress, in which the members will vote for the new organic positions.

In a statement, Emilio Navarro indicates that he assumes the presidency “with maximum responsibility and commitment” and sets himself the goal of “working from unity and cohesion, with the firm objective of strengthening the PP project on the island of Tenerife.”

The current president of the Popular Canary Islands, Manuel Domínguez, is convinced that Emilio Navarro “faithfully represents the values ​​of the Popular Party” and picks up the baton “with a vision of politics” that he has defended throughout his career: “claim the role of municipalism in current politics”.
