The presence of ice in the reason why this Thursday closed to vehicular traffic the accesses to the national park of the Mount Teide by La Orotava and La Esperanza, has informed the Council of Tenerife.
Access to Teide National Park along the TF-21 road, by La Orotava, has been closed from Ramón Caminero, while the TF-24, through La Esperanza, has been closed at Los Loros.
The Cabildo de Tenerife has indicated on its social networks that the entrances to the park that are closed there are personnel and machinery working to clean the road.
The presence of ice is due to the DANA that since last Tuesday began to discharge water and snow on the Islands, a phenomenon that, as announced by the Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) will remain at least until tomorrow.
