Three men who are not related to each other have been arrested by the National Police for being the alleged perpetrators of the jewelry thefts committed in three homes in the capital of Tenerife, in which the perpetrators took advantage of the trust that the victims had deposited in them.
The thefts were carried out last year on dates not determined by the National Police, which, in a statement, reported yesterday that the stolen jewels had a total value of more than 7,000 euros, and that they were sold in houses of purchase and sale of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
One of the thefts occurred in the area of Las Torres and as the alleged perpetrator the worker of a care company has been arrested, who was assisting a septuagenarian from whom jewels valued at more than 3,500 euros were stolen.
Another of the thefts took place in the neighborhood of Las Delicias, where a 55-year-old man apparently took jewelry and cash for more than 2,000 euros from his ex-partner’s home.
And the third of these thefts took place in Tíncer, where a 19-year-old boy allegedly stole jewelry worth more than 1,500 euros from his girlfriend’s grandmother.
The investigation of the National Police related the alleged thieves, without connection to each other, with the sale of the stolen jewels in establishments for the purchase and sale of valuable objects in the capital of Tenerife.
