SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Thomas Handrick, the man accused of killing his wife and eldest son in a cave in Adeje, attacked his wife with a stone and sat on her to immobilize her, as revealed this Wednesday in the trial held in the Provincial Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
This is reflected in the statement given by his youngest son Jonas, who survived the attack, in a meeting with psychologists days after the events, at the end of April 2019 – when he still did not know that his mother and brother had died- -, and that has been issued in court.
In the statement he said that the father had forced them to go up the road, in the upper area of Adeje, and they did not want to — contradicts the version of the father who said this Tuesday that the children were very excited and did not want to stop — , and that at no time did he complain of any ailment.
When they arrived near the cave, he remembers that Thomas attacked his mother with a stone and he ran away, without seeing how he allegedly attacked his brother Jakob, he got scared and ran away.
