ULL students confined by COVID will be able to take exams on second call

The University of La Laguna (ULL) has reported this Tuesday that students who are in a situation of home isolation after a situation of contagion by COVID-19 will be able to be examined in the second call for these tests.

The University details in a statement that, if the student persists in isolation during this second call, the teaching staff responsible for the subject will summon him or her to the exam on a new date, outside the official exam period of the January call.

In general, the period of official examinations of the January call is maintained, as well as the closing date for the delivery of minutes, according to the provisions of the 2021/22 academic calendar.

The University of La Laguna has published this Tuesday a resolution on the exam period for those students affected by coronavirus that can be consulted on the main page of the institutional website.

In addition, and in order to respect the deadline for closing the records, the students who are examined after February 9 will appear in the record with a ‘Not Presented (NP)’, in such a way that, once examined, their grade will be transferred to the minutes through the rectification procedure provided for this purpose.

The document indicates that February 25 is established as the deadline to complete the procedure for rectifying the minutes.
