Three arrested for stealing jewelry and money in three homes in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Agents of the National Police arrested three men between 19 and 55 years of age, without police records, as alleged perpetrators of separate crimes of jewelry theft in three homes in the town of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In all cases, the common denominator was the trust that the victims had placed in the alleged thieves.

The investigators of the National Police have clarified three crimes of theft of jewels, committed throughout the year 2021, in homes in the capital of Tenerife.

In the Las Torres area, the worker of a care company allegedly stole more than 3,500 euros in jewelry from the septuagenarian’s home.

In Las Delicias, apparently, a 55-year-old man took jewelry and cash for more than 2,000 euros from his ex-partner’s home, taking advantage of the trust that had been placed in him.

Finally, in Tíncer, a 19-year-old man allegedly stole jewelry worth more than 1,500 euros from his girlfriend’s grandmother, taking advantage of the fact that he had access to her home when he was going to visit his granddaughter.

The investigation of the National Police related the alleged thieves, without connection to each other, with the sale of the stolen jewels in different establishments for the purchase and sale of valuable objects in the capital of Tenerife.

The facts were brought to the attention of the competent judicial authority, through the reports made by the agents.

The actions were carried out by national police officers from the Investigation Group of the National Police Station of the Northern District
