More than 300 passengers will use the renovated Buenavista del Norte bus station every day

The works have made it possible to renovate the entire exterior of the building, which now has larger and more accessible docks, anti-vandalism benches and elevated or ischial seats. The interior of the building, which is accessed by a newly created accessible ramp, has been improved with the placement of «an information and card sales point adapted, benches, high-contrast signage, induction system for the deaf, as well as the installation of air conditioning and air renewal in the toilets. The works have also made it possible to renovate the bathrooms and create one “particularly accessible and adapted for people with an ostomy, as they already exist in other stations on the island of Tenerife,” according to the Cabildo.
