The Council of Tenerife has invested 450,000 euros in refurbishment and improvement works for the accessibility and operability of a station that since yesterday is back in operation puts into operation. The renovation project was carried out over a period of six months, which has just ended. The official presentation of the new facilities was attended by the first vice president and councilor for Mobility of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Enrique Arriaga (Cs); Mayor Buenavista, Antonio González (SSP); the insular director of Mobility, José Alberto León, and the manager of Titsa, Raquel Martínez.

Arriaga highlighted that “the Island Corporation works to improve mobility on the island, in this case modernizing the infrastructures at the bus stations. The remodeling carried out in the Buenavista del Norte station makes it a more functional, accessible and sustainable facility”, in reference to the concrete used in the platform of the docks, “which contributes to eliminate the nitrogen oxides that are generated in the combustion of the buses, reducing their carbon footprint”.
