The Mayor signs the reception of the phase II works for the improvement of urbanization of streets and square of Arguayo

The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, signed this Monday, January 24, the acceptance certificate for phase II of the urbanization improvement works for streets in the historic center and Arguayo square.

For said basic project and execution of adaptation, reform and beautification of the streets of the historic center and paving of the Plaza de la Iglesia de Arguayo in its phase II, the City Council invested an economic item of €123,283.25.

The project contemplated the area of ​​action corresponding to the “CALLE” area of ​​intervention, in Candelaria street, at the meeting point with the Arguayo church square. The works included in this project were divided into the following sections: demolition of existing sections of sidewalks and curbs, road and pedestrian network, resurfacing and paving of the pedestrian area, placement of steps in the funeral home area and specific access areas to front-facing homes, placement of bollards in restricted vehicle access areas in specific sections, replacement of the pavement in the church square, rainwater drainage network, public lighting, low-voltage network and telecommunications network.
