SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The mayor of Los Llanos de Aridane, Noelia García Leal, has been elected, during the XV Regional Congress, new spokesperson for the Popular Party in the Canary Islands and number 3 of the party in the Islands.
Noelia García thanked the new regional president of the PP, Manuel Domínguez, for the trust placed in her, and pointed out that “a new stage of enthusiasm and a lot of work is opening in the Popular Party of the Canary Islands”.
He also highlighted the “great protagonism” that the PP of La Palma acquires in the party, “the result of the effort and the policies that we are developing at the island level with Mariano Zapata at the head,” he assured.
Likewise, he has shown his “firm” commitment “to work to live up to the task” and to be “a loud and clear voice when it comes to defending the interests of the eight islands”. “We will continue working, from unity, to be a real alternative government in our Autonomous Community that responds to the needs of all Canarians,” he said.
OTHER APPOINTMENTS
During this congress it has also been announced that the new Executive Committee will be made up of the current mayor of Los Llanos and new spokesperson for the PP of the Canary Islands, Noelia García Leal; the deputy secretary of insular communication, Damaris Ferraz; the councilor for Social Action of Los Llanos de Aridane, Elena Concepción.
In addition to the ex officio members such as the president of the PP of La Palma, Mariano Zapata; MEP Gabriel Mato; the regional senator Asier Antona; the senator for La Palma, Borja Pérez Sicilia; the regional deputy Lorena Hernández Labrador; regional deputy Jacob Qadri; the mayor of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Juanjo Cabrera, and the president of New Canary Generations, Alejandro Sánchez Cabrera.
Likewise, the secretary of the PP of La Palma, Nieves Hernández, and the spokesperson of the PP of Tijarafe, Dácil Pérez, will be on the Board of Directors.
