SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium have recovered the lifeless body of a 36-year-old man from the sea in Playa Amarrilla, on the municipal border of Arona and San Miguel de Abona, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes). 1-1-2.
The events occurred yesterday, Friday, around 4:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting a motionless body underwater in the indicated coastal area, for which the Cecoes activated the necessary emergency resources immediately.
The Civil Guard team moved to the scene requested the intervention of the Firefighters and the Canary Emergency Service (SUC). Firefighters from Tenerife recovered the deceased body of a man and transferred it to the shore, where it was made available to the judicial authority.
The SUC staff treated a 48-year-old woman with a mild anxiety crisis and took care of her transfer to a health center. Police officers collaborated with the intervening resources.
