The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has denounced a 30-year-old man for driving a scooter while intoxicated, reporting in a breathalyzer test a rate of 0.91 mg/l of air breathed, well above the 0.25 allowed.
The events took place last Wednesday, when police officers made a selective control on the respect for the circulation measures of personal mobility vehicles (VMP) in the city. On that day they detected and intercepted a man who was driving a scooter in an abnormal way. At the control, his documentation was requested and a breathalyzer test was carried out, which finally came back positive.
The agents removed the vehicle and proceeded to process the appropriate complaint.
