A 30-year-old woman has been seriously injured after her car collided with a wall on a road as it passed through Arona (Tenerife), as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred on the afternoon of this Wednesday on the TF-28 road, on the road that connects the area of La Camella with Valle San Lorenzo, at approximately kilometer point 90, in the municipality of Arona, a place until which firefighters from Tenerife moved to free the occupant, since she had been trapped inside the vehicle.
Subsequently, the affected woman was assisted by personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) who verified that she had a serious head injury, for which she was transferred by medicalized helicopter from the SUC to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
Members of the Island Council’s Highway Maintenance Service also appeared at the scene of the incident, as well as agents of the Local Police, who collaborated with the rest of the intervening resources, and members of the Civil Guard who took charge of the proceedings. opportune and collaborated in ensuring the capture of the helicopter.
