Guía de Isora has a new plaza and garden area on Calle Altamar, in Playa de San Juan. The mayor, Josefa Mesa, explains that, within the plan of works and improvements in the different Isora towns, “we wanted to prioritize this action in that area of the town, highly demanded by the neighbors and that will significantly improve the environment.”
Among the works carried out is, in addition, the improvement of lighting in this environment, with LED lighting. At the same time, the space is provided with a type of pavement that helps decontaminate the air, “that is, tiles that absorb particles such as CO2 and perform a function similar to that of trees.” The Councilor for Urban Development, Eduardo González, says that “we have gained accessibility and continue to increase sustainability in the municipality.”
This action had a cost of 42,532 euros.
