The direction of the Teide National Park has proceeded to close several trails due to the presence of ice and snow on the summit, reports the Security area of the Cabildo de Tenerife.
The trails in question are number 10 (Telesforo Bravo), 11 (Mirador de la Fortaleza), 12 (Mirador de Pico Viejo) and partially 7 (Montaña Blanca-Pico Teide), from the top of Montaña Blanca to the confluence with trails 7 and 11.
People with a valid mountain federation card and who have the appropriate material may walk these trails.
The Cabildo de Tenerife recommends caution on the rest of the trails in the network.
